Hello! This is my sixth year teaching first grade at Midway and my eleventh year teaching overall. I received my undergraduate and Masters degree from Xavier University located in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have a two year old daughter named Madelyn. When I am not teaching I like to spend time with my family. I am looking forward to another great year at Midway!

Bonjour! This will be my fourth year at Midway. I received my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood from USC, and I have spoken French since I can remember. Although I was raised in the States, I love the language and the opportunity to pass it on to children. I live in Lexington with my husband and four step-kids, and in my free time I enjoy writing or spending time with my family.
Welcome to 1st grade! This is my 11th year teaching and having fun with kids. Most of my teaching career has been spent in kindergarten. I have loved watching kids grow and learn. I look forward to seeing how much growth can be made this year in 1st grade.
I have a degree from Columbia College in Elementary Education. I am certified in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I also have a master’s degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. My latest professional accomplishment was receiving National Board Certification in 2013.
Outside of school I love to spend time with my family. I am married and have two boys who also attend Lexington 1 schools. Carson is in 2nd grade at Midway Elementary and Parker is in 8th grade at Meadow Glen Middle. I love to take pictures of families and mostly use the outdoors as my background. I love home decor, crafting, and monograms.
I cannot wait to work with our parents and students in order to demonstrate our motto of “making a difference for every student.” Go Mustangs!
