This will be my 26th year teaching, and my 21st year teaching at Midway.  My Elementary Education Degree is from the University of Central Florida.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades throughout my career.  I have a daughter who lives in Philadelphia and works for Special Olympics of Pennsylvania, and a son who is studying Mechanical Engineering at USC.  My wonderful husband and I are empty nesters with a mischievous Beagle named Cody.  I grew up outside of Chicago, but never want to move up north again!  My favorite hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, exercising, and cooking.  Midway is a very important part of my life, and is my home away from home.

Bonjour! I am excited to begin a new year teaching 3rd grade in the French Immersion program. This is my fifteenth year teaching and my eleventh year at Midway. I am a graduate of Converse College with a degree in French and education. I also have a Master’s degree in administration. I love teaching and sharing my love for French at the same time. I have two daughters who are in the French immersion program. They are in 6th and 10th grade. I also have two fur babies (yorkies) who are a very special part of our family.

I am thrilled to be a Midway Mustang and I know you and your family will be, too! I began my teaching career in Gainesville, Florida in 1996 and moved to Lexington in 2005, when I began teaching third grade at Midway. My family and I enjoy spending our free time together outdoors with our dogs and cheering on the River Bluff Gators and Clemson Tigers (where my sons attend school.) I can’t forget our very favorite past time… rooting for the University of Florida Gators (where my husband and I attended college.) I am looking forward to another great year of learning and growing with my third grade students and their families!

I’m blessed to begin another year at Midway! I grew up attending Lexington One Schools and my husband, Daniel, and I live in Batesburg with our cat, Buttons.  I received my undergraduate and my masters degree from Columbia College.  In my free time I enjoying traveling, spending time with friends & family, shopping, cooking, painting, and practicing my hobby of photography.

Hello fellow Mustangs! I am so excited for another school year at Midway. My love for teaching began as I earned my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Columbia College and began my teaching career in Lexington School District Five across the dam. I taught third grade and earned my Master’s in elementary education from the University of South Carolina. I also went on to earn my National Board Certification. This is my 22nd year of teaching third grade, and I still love every minute of it! I transferred to Midway Elementary when my husband Scott and I started a family. We have 2 girls, one who attends Lexington Middle and another at Meadow Glen Middle.  We also have a sweet rescue dog we all adore. In my free time, I spend my time with my family on our wave runner at the lake and river or relaxing on the beach. I am looking forward to another great year! Go Mustangs!

I am starting my 8th year as a Midway Mustang. I attended Midway when I was in Elementary school. I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have had a life long passion for teaching and feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to teach in my hometown. My husband, Brad, and I are proud parents of our newborn son, Bryson. We love to take trips to the mountains, spend time with our family, and play with our cocker spaniel, Finley. I am looking forward to another great year in third grade!
