I was born in Jackson, Tennessee, but grew up in West Columbia, SC. I attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for my undergraduate and graduate degrees in speech-language pathology. I spent 10 years total in Tennessee before then returning home to Lexington, SC. This will be my 16th year teaching speech therapy in the schools, with the last 12 being with Lexington District One. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and two children.
I am excited to be a new addition to the Mustang family after moving to the Columbia area from Indiana after my husband took a position at USC (Go Gamecocks!) I have practiced for 27 years, the last 14 having been in the public schools. I have 3 beautiful daughters and an adorable, feisty dog named Piper. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential in communication skills and beyond!
