Hello Mustangs! This will be my tenth year of teaching and my seventh year at Midway after joining the Mustang family in 2018. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with my degree in Early Childhood Education. I love getting to teach 4K and welcoming the youngest Mustangs to class each day! I have one daughter and one very spoiled rescue dog. Outside of school I enjoy cheering my daughter on at soccer, traveling, backpacking and spending time with family and friends. I am looking forward to another great school year!

Kim Godwin, Assistant

Hi, my name is Kim Godwin. I am new to Midway Elementary this school year, but not new to working with young children. I worked 5 years at Lexington Baptist Preschool before coming to the public schools. I am married to my college sweetheart, Dan, and we have 3 very active boys. Our oldest is Charlie, who is a rising sophomore at USC, Walker, a rising 11th grader at River Bluff who plays baseball, and Corbin, who is a rising 7th grader at Lakeside Middle School, who also plays baseball and football. My husband and I spend our time running to and from ball fields, boating on the lake with friends, and traveling. Looking forward to working alongside Kelly Beasley this school year.
