Hello Mustangs!  I graduated from Winthrop with a BA in Psychology and then from USC with an MSW degree.  I worked as a therapist for several years before becoming a mom.  When my daughter, Ava, started kindergarten at Midway in 2016, I began working as a substitute teacher.  In 2021, I began working full time at Midway, first as a kindergarten assistant and then as an assistant on the Intervention Team.  This will be my second year in the role of Federal Compliance Specialist.  My husband, Kevin, and I have been married since 2008.  Kevin, Ava and I love taking trips to Charleston and Folly Beach.  We have a sweet dog named Murphy Blue.

Hi there! My name is Garrett Crutchfield and I am so excited to be a mustang again! I attended Midway Elementary School and I am so happy to be back and working at such an amazing school. I am looking forward to an awesome year and meeting so many wonderful people! 

Molly Faile

Hey Mustangs!  My name is Molly Faile and you will find me in the front office at Midway.  I am a graduate of USC (Go Cocks!) and spent over 15 years of my career in human resources.  In order to spend more time with family, I hung up my HR hat and have since found a home at Midway.  I am married with two kids, Jacob (21) & Luke (13), and two dogs, Rosie & Henry.  I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, and traveling.  I am looking forward to another great year at Midway!

Terri Felkel

My name is Terri Felkel and this will be my 14 th year at Midway and 26th year with the district. I am originally from Orangeburg. I graduated with a B.S. from Francis Marion University in 1986. I have two wonderful children. My daughter, Taylor, is married with a daughter named Gracie and a son named Braxton. My son, Dillon, is a doctor and finishing his residency in NC. I love spending time with my children, grandchildren, family, and hanging out with friends. The beach is my great “get away.” You will also find me cheering on the Gamecocks!

Hey Mustang Family! I will begin my 14th year working at Midway in August. I am originally from Kershaw, SC, and I have lived in Lexington since March, 2004. I have 2 children, Hannah and Ben, who both attended Midway Elementary, Meadow Glen Middle, and River Bluff High School. Hannah now attends the University of South Carolina. She loves college, her sorority, and the wonderful friends she has made! Ben will begin classes at Midlands Tech later this summer with plans to transfer to USC to study Civil Engineering. He also enjoys playing golf and fishing. When we are fortunate enough to all spend time together, we enjoy college sports (especially USC football and baseball), spending time at Shem Creek and Charleston, and hanging out with our friends. I am blessed to call Midway home!

Hello, my name is Alicia Weed, I am one of the first few people who will greet you when you enter Midway in the front lobby of our school. I love seeing our Mustangs as they join us each morning! I have been with Midway since 2011. My 3 children, Drew (21), Aydan (20), and Cale (18) were all Midway Mustangs! They are now college students at MTC. We love spending our free time with my boyfriend Brian and his
daughter, Olivia (13), family and friends on the lake, by the pool, at the beach and watching college football, Atlanta Braves baseball and lots of travel and school volleyball for Olivia! Between us we also have 5 dogs and 3 cats that we love spending time with as well! I look forward to another great year at Midway!
