Kay Craft

Counselor for K and 2nd Grades

Hello Mustangs! My name is Kay Craft, and I am excited to be serving as the Kindergarten and 2nd grade School Counselor. This will be my third year at Midway Elementary School. I have worked in the early childhood education field for the past six years. My passion for children has led me to pursue a career in School Counseling. I am dedicated to cultivating a supportive and empathetic safe space for students. My 5-year-old daughter, Melanie, keeps me busy in my free time. We enjoy going for walks, playing on the playground, and watching Disney movies. I look forward to meeting you and your students. Whitley Farrell

Counselor for 1st and 4th Grades

Hello Mustangs! My name is Whitley Farrell, and I am excited to be the school counselor for our 1st and 4th grade students! I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Canisius University and my Master’s Degree in K–12 School Counseling from Capella University.

This is my eighth year as a school counselor, and I look forward to supporting our students and partnering with families throughout the school year. My goal is to help every student grow, feel supported, and be successful both in and out of the classroom.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active with my husband, Corey, our sweet daughter, Rosie, and our Labrador, Hank. We are also so excited to be welcoming our second little girl to our family this fall! I also love watching and playing a variety of sports.

Susan Goff

Counselor for 3rd and 5th Grades

Hello Mustang families! I am Susan Goff, the school counselor for 3rd grade and 5th grade this year. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and my Educational Specialist Degree in Counselor Education (K-12) from the University of South Carolina. This will be my tenth year at Midway. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to the mountains and the beach and spending time with my family and friends. I also like to exercise, read, and make crafts. I am ready for another exciting year at Midway!
