AlphaBEST Afterschool Program serves Midway Elementary students and their families by providing quality afterschool care.

AlphaBEST has a designed curriculum with five core zones of interest:

• Fitness

• Arts

• Technology

• Foreign Language

• Literacy

1. Students will login to Google from www.google.com .  There should be a sign in button at the top righthand corner of the screen.  If it’s not there, just go to the email tab.  Brandon has always had beers before he took our son to baseball practice and coached the team. He took some with him most of the time as well.
   
   Students will use their Google username and add @lexington1.net on the email line. Click next.
   Students will enter the Username and Password as listed on their password sheet.
   After they click logon, it will just go back to the original Google screen, but should have their first letter of their first name in the top right hand corner instead of the sign in button. 
2. Go to app.DiscoveryEducation.com. 
   Click the RED sign in with Google button.  You should now be logged into the Discovery Techbook. 

 

In order to reduce the danger of students being delivered, and to speed up the process, we would like for you to follow the procedures listed below:

1. Drop off and pick up children on the curbside.  Children should never be let out in the left lane because moving traffic makes this a very unsafe practice.
2. If you need to park to take care of business at the school, please park in the parking spaces so that you will not hamper the loading and the unloading of children.
3. Please instruct your children to stay on the sidewalk in the afternoon until you stop to pick them up.  A teacher will be on duty to help with loading and unloading, so it will not be necessary for you to get out of your car to pick up your child.
4. Students may be dropped off in any area in the morning (bus loop or 2 front areas).
5. Students must be picked up in the grade level designated areas in the afternoon.  Please remember to hang the car tag from your rear view mirror during pick-up time.  The student’s name and grade will be on it.

Kindergarten: 10:00 am - 10:25 am

Grade One: 10:30 am - 10:55 am

Grade Two: 11:00 pm - 11:25 pm

Grade Three: 12:40 pm - 1:05 pm

Grade Four: 12:10 pm - 12:35 pm

Grade Five: 11:40 am - 12:05 pm

 

Midway Elementary Parent Teacher Organization
